They don’t even have consistent power right now. I’m not doing the 3rd world thing on my next vacation

Send hundreds of thousands of Cubans to battleground counties! Since demwits love immigrants, they should approve wholeheartedly.

Yes the foreigners love it but how has communism worked out for the people? Cuba should be one of the richest countries in the world. But it’s Not. It’s one of the poorest countries in world.

Oh? Why? It sure isn't their abundance of energy, or, rather, lack thereof. So, really, why? Because of gambling and prostitution? Tobacco? Sugar cane?

I went 8 yrs ago. It was a decent trip. I was still smoking cigars and drinking back then

It reminded me of East Berlin in the early 80s which I also visited ... passed through Check Point Charlie. Always hated to give up that passport when I renewed.

Anyways ... plenty of pretty wimen in Cuba. We toured a couple of farms, ate a lot of good food.

What struck me the most, as it does everyone, are all the old American made classic cars still on the road. The shade tree mechanics there have kept hundreds and hundreds of 50s era classics running. They fabricate parts, rebuild components, re-engineer radios and they keep the paint jobs and upholstery in good shape. It's amazing, it really is.

Nothing goes to waste.

I think you should go and represent. But it's just me but I wouldn't start a new thread because it's likely that most folks don't give a crap. Fair travels nonetheless.
