I wonder if there will be cases of people following delivery drivers

In my area, my groceries are delivered by individuals in their private vehicles, might be kinda hard to pick them out from regular shoppers?

I think a few people, emboldened by tiktok and the like, may try to walk out of stores with unpaid carts... but I doubt it will be many, widespread or organized. Every area probably has an assistance line set up to connect people with community resources for a time such as this. My area does.

Are any of you really thinking shits gonna pop off?

Walmart drivers deliver in their cars too but they are loaded up by Walmart in a designated area in the parking lot. Easy to spot and follow them.

People without food will, especially if this goes on for weeks, will do wild shite. You forget that a large portion of the people on welfare are already very good at crime

Those places have limited resources. No way they can support 42 million people for any reasonable amount of time.

Not needed where I live. Heavily religious, mostly Hispanic/white small farming town that takes care of others in need. Plenty of churches and other establishments to get assistance.

42 million on welfare in this country to the tune of billions monthly. Churches and communities can't fill that void

I was speaking of my town, where I will not require a gun. Can't speak for everywhere else.

We have almost 30 churches in a town under 10k. We will be fine but thanks for the concern.

stout.. you're painting a bleak picture.

Hopefully this shutdown wraps up in the next couple of days- although following your train of thought and knowing how democrats operate, I could see where this would be a desirable outcome for them, optics wise.

Depressing.

Yeah, I feel like for commie revolution fgts, this would be a really good excuse to spin up the tard army and do some damage.

Even if not now, I feel like eventually, this will happen, for some reason or another. Best to be ready.

If we get a few weeks into no food stamps, I think it will be bleak.

Even in small towns of 10K people with 30 churches

Can I get a four bedroom there for about $400k?

$750k is the cheapest 4 bedroom house currently on MLS in my zip code

But just for the exercise, yearly:

Your property taxes would be 2k
Your homeowners would be under 2k
Your car insurance would be under 2k

What you guys pay in terms of these three items is insane.

I've had the permit for years but I never carry on my person. Maybe in the truck if I'm on a long drive. I'm really more of a big-arse wrench guy. People back up quick. Apparently I have the look and mannerisms of a man who will go to town with a Stilson.

Americans are lazy and obese. None of these people on EBT are going to do anything but whine and complain on the internet and social media.
