think he voted for Trump and was just saying it didn't really count in blue Nashville.

I have a sneaking suspicion my daughter and son in law did.
I have a cousin who did. He got in an argument about politics 2 Thanksgivings ago and his dad kicked out of his house and pretty much disowned him.
Other than that, I don't know of anyone in my inner circle who did. I don't hang around people like that.

Not in the least. I was just curious if there were actual Harris supporters on the Board. I take it you're one.

Having young adults just starting out in my family... I can understand why they may have voted that way in hopes of student loan forgiveness and other pie in the sky programs that were being dangled like a carrot.
They thought they were voting with their pocketbooks.. I know as they mature their views will change accordingly- in fact, it is already happening... they have already figured out that doing things "the right way" is more often punished than not- they will be conservative soon, lol.
I don't begrudge the young their idealistic votes... and I love my family and would never write them off over political differences.

I surely did exactly that.
Thanks for the response. Did you vote more FOR Harris or AGAINST Trump?

FWIW, I enjoy hearing other perspectives. I don't care to hear talking points. I want to know WHY someone thinks what they think.
Same.

Hobnail is a self admitted leftist.
It was probably both.

If she had won, the beliefs and values that built this country would be melting.

But your asking who they voted for not what they think about XY or Z.

I’m sure my mom did. She is always talking on the phone with her sister from Virginia and constantly talking about what CNN is saying about Trump. Never wants to discuss politics with me because when I ask her to explain her position it usually ends with, I don’t want to talk about it.
Edit to say, I still love her to death and I know she is being brainwashed but can never understand why there is so much hate for a person that left behind the lifestyle he had to help his country and take the abuse dished out for nothing. Then donate his salary from being President!

Anyone admitting they did would be admitting you are a moron. She was not a serious candidate even if you were voting for her to be anti-Trump. She was probably the most unqualified candidate in history.

I don't understand this preoccupation. Regardless of who anyone voted for, we are living in the same reality (I think?). It literally does not matter who anyone voted for today. The election happened and we're all experiencing the consequences whether someone voted for Donald Trump or anyone else.

I’m pretty sure my late wife did. She passed away in 2017 and started to really vote hard left in 2020.
