No thanks. We need fewer women in politics nationwide and not more.

Landry has balls, but not the other guys.

Sadly, outside of Trump and Desantis. the women are the ones stepping up...not the guys.

For me it is either Hewitt or Landry...period.

you guys figure out who wins the primary, and I'll vote for them. Pathetic that it has come to that. I don't care who it is as long as they're semi-conservative.

I’m big time SUS of Hewitt. I’ve been staying close to the voting shenanigans and her bill want that good. She also seems to have drank the cool-aid about using BMDs to vote. BMDs + the rumor that ballots will not be tabulated at the precincts… and now we are Fulton County/Maricopa/TCF center. Hurray.

He’s a solid conservative, but he’s also level-headed and has actual people skills. Your account is one of many examples.

Have you bothered to look at her professional, pre-politics background? Or are you just a single digit IQ moron?

You’d get a lot of the same conservative policy positions with Schroeder that you’d get with Landry but without the cartoon character baggage and inability to get it through the Legislature.

Schroeder was in the Legislature with a lot of folks still there and knows how to get things done. Landry doesn’t have the tactical skills or people skills to get through major policy changes.

Graves is worthless. Did he even finish high school?

How exactly are you estimating worth?

He spearheaded the move to fix the "duplication of benefits" issue with FEMA/HUD, going so far as to take HUD to court to make them obey the law he wrote.

He spearheaded getting the Corps of Engineers finally off their asses to finish off the Comite Diversion Canal (after it languished for decades).

He was the main driver in getting I-10 expanded from Lobdell-the I-10/12 split.

Any one of those would be a big deal (especially the interstate expansion) but he accomplished all three within just a handful of years.

I’m fine with Graves as Governor. Plus for me -
Coastal Restoration and Flood Control should be a bigger issue in state elections. Sort of his wheelhouse and interest

Nope. Sorry. Only national red meat issues are allowed to matter for Republicans.

As have I.

He definitely TALKS the TALK as a conservative.

FIFY

He is probably the first choice for Sentrius (until he loses...then Sentrius will magically change his mind). I would imagine that the Democratic loving fricktard known as GOP_Tiger probably loves him some RINO Schneider as well. If that’s the case, then that alone should ring alarm bells for everyone.

Schneider is basically Bill Cassidy.

Post any fricking source you have for your bullshite claims. Hint: you have none.

And its Schroder not Schneider, idiot dumbass.

My favorite criticism against Landry by you ABL dumbasses is that he only does things in front of the camera. Anyone that knows anything about Louisiana politics knows that the Governor is basically the emperor of the state. Any fight that Landry picks with the Governor starts with him at a disadvantage, yet he continues to pick fights. You can't say that about anyone else on this list.

Landry for the next 8 years and the Graves for the 8 after. We have to do something about the RINOs in the state legislature.

I think, Graves, Cassidy, Kennedy, and Scalise are waiting for the national results to see who’s in charge in DC. If the Democrats stay in control look for one of them to abandon DC to run for Governor. You may even have Clay Higgins throw his in name in.

The problem is going to be a wide field of Republicans trying to shoot for 20-30 % of the vote. There could be a lot of friendly fire. If the Democrats are smart, they should keep their candidates to one or two names. That way they can get the typical 35-40% a Democrat usually gets in Louisiana, and gets a spot in the runoff. If too many Democrats run or a Democrat without statewide appeal runs, you could have 2 Republicans in the runoff.
