Surely Mitch Landrieu is going to try to do it. They have no other alternative. Except Cassidy
I think Landry is better suited to be Senator than Governor. He can go on Hannity, and certainly would be a more reliable conservative regarding legislation than Cassidy - who the GOPe stuck us with anyway.
Plus I think Landry is fine where he is as AG. If I had my druthers he’d stay there until he can challenge Cassidy.

Landry over Nungesser but frick me if those are our choices
Not happy about it either, but this state historically makes us choose the lesser of two evils.

John Schroder? Meh. He's a bit of a culture warrior.
I’m not even sure what that means but why would you say that?

On one hand I appreciate how he’s been a strong conservative bulwark during these dark Bel Edwards years. On the other I do think he’s shady AF and no doubt everything he’s done he’s done for his own political gain and recognition. I’d vote for him if I had to but strongly hope it doesn’t come to that.

John Schroder is a real conservative not a RINO and I believe he would be a great governor.

Mike Johnson is very smart. His in DC and wants a Senate seat. I wish he would run for Governor , but I don’t see it.

Whomever President Trump supports.

Paula Pellerin Davis would be a nice choice, in more ways than one.

I’ve known Schroder for a long time since his early days in politics. He definitely walks the walk as a conservative. Back during the Common Core mayhem i saw him handle a mob of angry shrill mothers with patience and grace during one of those town hall meetings,

I will vote for Jeff Landry twice.
Posted on 1/12/22 at 2:59 pm to Slippy
I have no political experience, so I'm voting for me.
Won't you all please vote for me? I surely can do what these other monkey nut a-holes have and haven't done............Except for the fact I'm for us, all the folks, not me alone.

Just vote for who ever has a R next to their name. At the runoff, do the exact same.

Say what you want about Landry but he has actually stood up to bitch arse Biden and his bullshite mandates. Challenging him in the courts and getting some wins even if temporary. You can’t say he’s just talking out of his arse he’s actually taking action.

As have I.
He definitely TALKS the TALK as a conservative.

He is probably the first choice for Sentrius (until he loses...then Sentrius will magically change his mind). I would imagine that the Democratic loving fricktard known as GOP_Tiger probably loves him some RINO Schneider as well. If that’s the case, then that alone should ring alarm bells for everyone.
Schneider is basically Bill Cassidy.
He is a hard pass for me unless he is the ONLY option against the Dems.
