I have met and spoke with Mr. Rispone a few times. He is a straight shooting, hard working individual that built a very successful company. I would love to see him run and will put all my support behind him.

school choice.
Why do you keep saying this? What talking point did I miss? Someone does not have choice of school in this country? Who is that?

Very few people have school choice when it comes to getting the publicly funded education they are taxed for their entire lives.
Most have to acquiesce to the politburo like bureaucrats called the local school board to see where they will have to send their kids to school to get their government provided benefit.
I say give them a choice of schools by giving them vouchers or give them a choice of paying the taxes.

Does he support a new State Constitution? If not it’s just the same pig, just different mud.

Relation to Gary?
That was my next question. Used to coach against Gary when my kids played football in3-6th grade. He was at St. Alphonsus, I was at St. Isidore.

Mr. Eddie is a first class individual and all around quality human being. He started ISC and has semi retired as owner. He's a straight shooter and cares about creating an environment in Louisiana that his grandchildren and great grandchildren can be proud to live in.
I'm not in his campaign, but I know him well enough to be able to tell you that he puts his money where his mouth is. And he cares about a lot of things that most on this board feel passionately about.... the future of our state, education of our children, workforce development, career choice for students that don't choose college. He is pro business, pro industry and pro life.
Most importantly, he's an outsider. He doesn't need to run. He's a statesman who believes in service. And he feels like he's been given a lot in this life and could happily retire and spend his time, money and life with his family and live very, very happily ever after. But he feels like that would be a waste of what he's been given and he needs to give back to the great state and people that have given him so much.
Eddie is running for the right reasons, for service not ego and for others, not himself. If there ever was a Trumpian type candidate, minus the coarseness, it would be Eddie Rispone.
I can personally attest that he's the real deal and we'd be lucky to have him.
Well said. I’ve known him my whole life as a family friend. ZERO skeletons in his closet.

I'm sure Eddie Rispone is a fine man and would serve Louisiana well but there is no such thing as ZERO skeletons in the closet.
Everyone has skeletons in their own closet. It's just a matter of how much voters are willing to tolerate if they're exposed.

He’s NOT a lying, cheating, thieving pos scumbag like most career politicians. I’d put his character up against anyone.

No one gets to be that dense and post on poli. Maybe you should stick to OT and food/drink.
Here's your big chance to sit with the grownups.
Start here: the word together is the key for you.
Here is a useful definition of together.
at the same time.
"they both spoke together"
synonyms: simultaneously, at the same time, at one and the same time, at once, all together, as a group, in unison, in concert, in chorus, as one, with one accord
"they both spoke together".
All together. Unity.
Community. Our common enjoyment of possibilities.

Terrible comparison.
Jindal was a young policy wonk with a budding career. But he never wanted to make a decision for fear of any potential political fallout that could impact his political future. In short, he was a giant vagina.
Eddie built and ran a $250M+/yr business and has been policially active for most of his life. He's probably in his late 60's now and not only is he NOT afraid to make a decision, he probably already knows what those decisions are he plans to make.

Love that DMV functions have been privatized.

Mr. Eddie is one of the most down to earth people you can meet. Has a bunch of money but you could never say that if you saw him out in a crowd.
He is overly generous and does more for the community than anyone knows or that he will ever take credit for. He is a very successful businessman and is willing to step out of his bubble and support causes that may not benefit him that will benefit other communities.
If he is making this choice to run for governor he will be a great one and will be extremely pro business and industry.

He was the R in MMR before selling out and building ISC, he wasn't a part of just 1 successful company.
