I really don’t have an answer. The only thing I can think of is a group of wealthy and powerful entities want to destroy western civilization. Why I don’t know, but I’d guess it has something to do with feeling like they no longer have use for it anymore and it’s only an obstacle in the way of their goals. Free people (or people who are under the illusion they are free) tend to not cooperate well. Perhaps they feel technological advances have satisfied their need for what the west provides and it’s simply in their best interests to dispense with us.

Do you realize how supremely intelligent an operation would be required to be to pursue such a plan?

This feels like it rings true in terms of just the need for manual labor, but why not set up some type of robust worker program that is mutually beneficial? Why just let them flood across and pay them to do so out of our pockets? Why let them vote in our elections no questions asked?
