I have automatic withdrawal set on the 15th each month, but cancelled the one for this month and contributed that money early this morning.

I pulled the trigger a little early and bought more of a mutual fund I have last Friday after the first 400 point drop.

I did.
Put in a buy order last evening...Day only...So, by the time it was filled this morning, I was pretty near the bottom of the -500 start.
I do not "time the market"..but, this looked like a decent time to go ahead ad move some in. I'll continue at regular intervals and take advantage of these when they seem to be a gift.

Yes, I had some cash there from some munis that either matured or were bought up and I decided it was a good time to buy equities that were good deals.

I took profits off the table week before last. And although the S&P 500 successfully tested the low around 2625 three times before rebounding I am not 100% persuaded we have a reversal. I saw some conviction as the afternoon wore on based fairly steady increase in up volume. I see some follow through tomorrow and I will probably do some buying. XOM looks inviting again.

I don't invest based on politics and I'm frankly not sure that the correction is done.
