The chamber of commerce runs the GOPe and they want cheap labor which means open borders or near to it which is why they all wanted to pass that garbage bill desperately until Trump shut it down.

Tech wants to cut their labor costs too so we get millions of H1B visas to replace domestic workers not for elite or unique roles, but because they’re cheaper and you call that conservatism? It’s indentured servitude and stealing jobs from US college students.

The GOP was going to continue to be a loser party of “strongly worded letter” conservatives who really just wanted to go on as a minority fake opposition party nationally until Trump went conservative populist, grabbed the blue collar base, won Latinos and took unprecedented numbers of black men into the coalition.

Is the GOP now a coalition party? Yes.

Do I have any vestige of respect for the brand of republican that you and Thom Tillis apparently represent? No.

They have all been stealing and selling their influence for decades, the $175,000 a year they make is peanuts compared to the underhanded money.
