Then if whites started going we’d be racist for co-opting and gentrifying their culture. So, if the end result either way is that I’m racist, I’ll just stay away from them so I don’t have to deal with all the other ignorant BS that comes along with being around large groups of HBCU students and fans.

Back in early 70's, I went to a texas southern vs Grambling game in the astrodome. It was promoted as Game and a Half. Featuring the 2 bands. Dome was absolutely packed with maybe 50 whites including me in the crowd. I must say, it felt a little weird.had a good time and TSU won the halftime. I don't think TSU has drawn crowds like that in years, but that night it was pure pageantry.
