Probably the most infuriating thing is that I saw the video this morning, and none of the trustworthy news accounts on twitter like CWB Chicago have posted any new information, which means they're not finding any.
Had a non-white woman been hunted down like this, it would've been national news yesterday, and we would likely already know her name and condition. There would be protests in the streets and statements from politicians.
Instead, crickets. Both Lightfoot and Johnson said they wouldn't even be taking questions about this weekend. This savagery is actively being ignored.
