No sir, you are still wrong. There are 13% blacks in the U.S. which means there are 42 million blacks. There are 60% whites in the U.S. which means there are approximately 231 million whites. 42 million whites translates into 18% of the total white population. Those 42 million whites accounted for approximately 851,272 of the total arrests for committed crimes. Those 42 million blacks accounted for 1,815,144 of the total arrested for committed crimes. Percentages indicate that blacks are responsible for 68% of the total arrests for crimes committed. An equal number of whites (42 million) were responsible for 32% of the total arrests for crimes committed. So...yes, blacks actually were arrested for over 50% of the crimes committed. It is an invalid conclusion to compare 13% to 60%. These numbers are extrapolated from this table ( LINK) and the current and approximate population of each race. I now stand by my original comment after breaking down the stats into meaningful and actual numbers from the DOJ and the FBI.

It’s becoming clear that you don’t know how math and numbers work. There’s not even any math needed here, it’s just looking at a chart. I’ll make it easy for you:
Total arrests: 6,816,975
White: 4,729,290
Black: 1,815,144

Seriously how did you look at these numbers above and come to this conclusion?
You have somehow twisted the numbers into 1.8 million being 68% of 6.8 million. Just give it a rest.

You must equate the same number of blacks to the same number of whites and then calculate the percentage of arrests to each group. Black population and arrests are the base line since they are the smaller population of the two. You cannot equate 42 million blacks to 231 million whites and arrive at an accurate, proportionate measure or percentage. The arrest percentage on the chart is deceiving at first look and you didn't realize it. And if you want to look at the reverse, whites had a lower crime arrest percentage than did the blacks. This isn't complicated. I'm surprised, frankly, that you do not understand the math here. ETA: I invite the math wizards here to calculate the numbers and percentages. I'm not a veterinarian, either, but I know when a cow has a broken leg.

No that’s just what you did. The raw data is there, total arrests and they’re broken down by race. The numbers aren’t trying to trick you.
If you think 1.8 million is 68% of 6.8 million then you just don’t know what you’re looking at.
If you’re saying blacks commit crime at a higher rate than whites then I’ve already agreed with you several times. But you’re going on to further twist the numbers and coming up with an asinine conclusion that isn’t there.
You can’t take 18% of all crimes committed by whites and compare it to 100% of crimes committed by blacks to come up with the total number of arrests. The total number of arrests is there, it’s 6.8 million and the number of white arrests is 4.7 million. You can’t change that.

You’re right, it’s not. You’ve complicated it for yourself by reducing the raw number of white arrests based on their percentage of the population. That’s not legitimate and no one has ever calculated crime statistics that way.
