There is a sign on Highland between LSU and Downtown that says to stop calling the police on black people. I laugh every time I see it because it's in the fricking hood and there are drug deals and shite going down underneath it.

I have managed to live 28 years on this earth without once having to call the cops on anyone for anything.

You have no idea how much I want that to continue to be the case.

Less cops harassing innocent citizens is a good thing

After someone handles it on their own and shoots an attacker in self defense: "They should've just called the cops"

Fewer idiotic statements are a good thing.

Whites have to call the cops or they would be called racist if they defend their self against minority’s.

Why would you call the cops on an innocent citizen?

Like calling for the use of body cameras, this advice probably won't turn out like this group wants.

I disagree with the poster because Binding Arbitration should have been inserted and was not. Immediately after the Mediation section is where the Arbitration process needed to be.

This is an important step that was glaringly overlooked. Perhaps they didn't like the fees that Arbitrators who are a members of the American Arbitration Association are seeking. A local neighborhood group made up of gang members and criminals could be the Arbitration arm going forward in Marquette.

This shite is pretty funny. There are as many "rednecks" in Wisconsin with guns as anywhere.

As long as I don't get in trouble when I "handle it" with a baseball bat or something I am OK with this.

I've called the popo before, to report a vehicle accident. Never for a "situation". Hope I never have to.

I've called them a few times. A couple to get the report on the break-in's of my storage shed to file the insurance (damned sure not getting anything else from the cop's outta reporting a break-in, never recovering a damned thing, never attempting to stop a thief).

The one time I called about some people knocking on the walls and pulling down the plastic downspout to rake across the wall about 2am, the cops came out and asked if I had a gun. Advised them I'd rather them come out than have them knock on somebody's mama door to tell them her kid ain't never coming home again.

ETA: Since the cops asking like that, I have shot 1 thief and taken a shot at another too. The one I missed (shot through shed wall to scare him out) ran through a wall to keep from exposing himself for a clear shot.

They say that...

Handle it on your own by shooting the criminal and they start bitching about how you didn’t call the cops.

That's the spirit. Let's say you are carjacked in the Walmart parking lot. Just say 'Friend, why is your need for transportation so urgent that you would use a gun to steal my car? Have you considered getting a bicycle or using the bus?'

That would start a constructive dialog.
