Tuition Reform is needed:
- Federal Loans should only apply for STEM related majors
- Wages should be garnished in the same manner as owing taxes

Basically the gubment has been subsidizing non marketable degrees. Kids are dumb and don't worry when we're 18, but they do care when they're 30.
When the gubment subsidizes anything, expect more of it. Like idleness, crime...
"Student loans" should have the university as a partner, not just recipient There's no incentive for schools to fix the problem as it is.

Not saying I disagree - but how could students be held accountable? Or if they fail out?
I had a scholarship to Tulane that was contingent upon me staying in the engineering program - that scared me so I didn’t take it - so should student loans be something like that?

Idk if anything has changed in the last year or two but I remember looking this up and people majoring in STEM fields has only gone up while people majoring in liberal arts has only gone down.
