I simply asked a question.

You seem to be a local expert.

Why so sensitive?

This is where you lose me.

It’s the same with the TCJA. EVERYONE got a tax cut. Of course those who pay more saved more raw dollars than those who pay less.

I’m not rich. At all. I got a tax cut.

It’s also hilarious because it’s the rich people living in the NE and CA with absurd state tax rates that are complaining about losing their subsidies from the SALT deductions.

A growing body of research has shown consistent evidence for Head Start’s differential effectiveness across a number of individual and family characteristics, including stronger impacts for children from families facing high levels of socioeconomic adversity (Cooper & Lanza, 2014; Lee, 2011), dual language learners (Bloom & Weiland, 2015; Puma et al., 2010a), and children with low levels of baseline skills (Lee, 2011; Puma et al., 2010a).

At the cost of $10,000 per year per kid I'm going to need to see rock solid, recent evidence of it's success.

$5 billion a year is not chump change.

There is a difference between low income children with a family and foster kids. Because of that I believe in giving them a step up

I grew up in a lowish income family in my early years but I had a family that loved me and participated in my education. Kids in the foster system don’t have that same level of support were it not for their foster parents

Foster kids would most likely benefit more from being placed into a preschool program for all kids of varying income levels, rather than pushing them into a low income program.

I can only speak for my foster children, every one of them greatly benefitted from the program.

So what was it that made your kids benefit that other kids missed?

The programs you are speaking of, do they provide dental and health care?

I’ve already stated that numerous times but to reiterate my experience has shown that non verbal children became verbal. I had interactions with teachers who specialize in things like helping foster children. I’m a better foster parent because of the instruction I got from Head Start employees

you shouldn't. The government exists to punish common Americans and increase the wealth of the elite. This aligns with the interests of the White House and MAGA.
DJT has put more money in the pocket of the average American, than anyone since Reagan! Tax cuts and record unemployment are just a couple of examples from his first term. I can only imagine the overwhelming success we would have as a nation, if the Dems and RINOS would embrace his vision.

Do foster kids in Missouri not qualify for Medicaid or CHIP? They do in Texas.
