While true there are two sides to every argument. And while I’m all for avoiding war for the next 50 years I don’t necessarily think it makes the world a better place. There are ~5 wars ready to kick off tomorrow if the US wasn’t such an overbearing threat to any nation acting against its interests / allies

Germany wins, socialist revolution breaks out in France and/or Britain in addition to Russia. The US is fighting a Cold War in the 1920s instead of after WWII, perhaps allied with Germany. The timeline is so divergent as to be completely unforeseeable.
