There is No USA if Lincoln fails Only other president you can say that about is Washington.
Lincoln was a tyrant. frick Abraham Lincoln. Any president that presides over a civil war does not belong on the list of greatest presidents of all time. The size of the federal government blew tf up under his arse. He was a motherfricking tyrant.

WW2 was big, did he mess up a lot? Yes, especially the great depression, but we won WW2, that counts.
Blew up the size of the federal government. The U.S. was never losing WW2 regardless of the president. Socialist in action. frick him.

Post WW2 Berlin Cold war start etc... Yes Economy crashed, but we didnt go from cold to Hot war.
That’s not a great list.

Trump has clearly been the best President of the 21st Century. In terms of all time rankings, I think Trump is clearly in the top 10.
My rankings:
George Washington
Thomas Jefferson
Andrew Jackson
Abraham Lincoln
Teddy Roosevelt
Dwight Eisenhower
John F. Kennedy
Harry S. Truman
Ronald Reagan
Donald J. Trump
William McKinley

Holy Alt History batman!
If Lincoln does not win, the USA doesn't exist as it does now.
Maybe you'd like that.
I guess you like Presidents who would destroy the USA...

An honest assessment would put him in the Top 15. Easily the best in the 21st century to date.

If Lincoln were truly great, the Union would not have required the bloodiest war in our history to remain intact. He is often praised for preserving the Union through force, yet rarely held accountable for the fact that force was necessary to keep it together, and his election was a catalyst for succession.

He’s in the top 5. As far as the leftists who tank the Presidents, he’ll be 47th, and they will venerate Joe Biden, so take their ratings with a grain of salt.

Good list, but what the frick did JFK do to be ranked at all? He couldn’t get anything passed in Congress.

I voted for Trump, He’s been a competent decision-maker, particularly on foreign policy, but calling him a top-five president stretches credibility. He will leave the country deeper in debt than he found it, oversaw little in the way of durable legislation, and his only real lasting imprint is the Supreme Court, an imprint that may evaporate if Republicans fail to hold the presidency in 2028. It’s hard to rank someone among the greats when their legacy may not survive a single election cycle after they leave office. Top half, maybe, but in today’s political environment, the conditions necessary for a true top-five presidency simply don’t exist, so I think he’s done very well for his situation.

It started under Buchanan, those forts were already besieged before Lincoln took office.

You should definitely read on the actions of Buchanan, he could have helped cool it.
Instead he lit the fuse and fanned it.

Best since Reagan, for sure. Let's see how it plays out. Reagan was able to make his changes endure, and it led to several decades of unbelievable success.
When Reagan finished his 2nd term there were polls with the hypothetical of him running again. Polls indicated he would have won in another landslide. This resulted in newspaper articles saying 'There may never be another Democrat president.' They were wrong.
That's why I warn people now, there will be another left wing president one day. And that one is gonna make sure elections are fixed.

Him and Ronald are running close....I say Trump by a nose.

He’s done some good things, it’s not universally good. Trump is #1 for watching congress grow the debt and #1 for self owns (e.g, Canada boycott).

The best, post WW1.
I am really not knowledgeable enough to have a valid opinion before that, but excepting the founding fathers who were presidents, most of whose greatest contributions were before their presidencies anyway; I would say Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and then Trump.
Reagan was outstanding behind the podium and accomplished many great things, but he only made things better. We were still a strong country.
Trump has single-handedly brought us from the brink and pushed our collapse back 20-30 years.

No, and you are ignorant of history.
The North had scuttlebutt of seceding over the LA purchase and Jefferson said let them.
Buchanon did not like secession, but he also recognized the States, in convention, deciding to do so.
Lincoln was going to collect those tariffs Andrew Jackson stopped short on.
Once the CSA left, did the USA not exist?
Lincoln was a worse president than Maduro, I would say he's top 8 worst leaders of all time.

This is how you get Trumpists to love Lincoln.

JFK passed tax reform that led to the prosperity of the 1960s. He organized the Apollo program that landed a man on the moon. He also averted a nuclear war with his blockade of Cuba. Started the modern special forces program. Fought communist aggression abroad. JFK would be right at home in Trump’s GOP.
