The real terror over a changing climate is the melting of ice caps and glaciers, and flooding of coastal cities the world over. And subtropical latitude cities becoming illivable due to intolerable summer heat and humidity, and increasingly worse drought and hurricanes.
Cold is A LOT more deadly than warmth. Just saying.
I know heat waves can be really uncomfortable but cold kills, especially when people lose power.

The biggest downside to mild Minnesota winters is the
… economic impact on businesses that rely on snow and ice half the year. Winter tourism is a big thing up there, and resorts that have not really recovered after covid took another big hit this winter.

There's always been a goodly part of the earth that is "illivable" due to being overly ARID, which is often accompanied by "intolerable summer heat."
Can you think of one place or region that has EVER been deemed such due to "intolerable summer heat AND humidity"?
I can't.

Just imagine how cold it would've been if not for decades of man-made global warming.

Both such events would result in global cooling, and the latter would be catastrophic.
When Mount Pinatubo blew its top in late 1991, the outcome for climate the world over for the following year was cooler temperatures-- globally an average of 1°C. Subtropical cities like Houston enjoyed an early fall-- temps during the Republican Convention in mid-August that year were comfortable, 60°F lows and high 80°'s in the afternoon. Such temps in a Houston August are otherwise unknown.
The current pattern of unfettered greenhouse gas emissions can do only one thing-- make the world hot, hot, hot.

Maybe I didn't word it right.
I meant the "end of the world" as the climate freaks claim if we don't "do something".

That already is occurring along the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea coastline. Dharhan in Saudi Arabia has experienced DEWPOINTS well above 90°F and HEAT INDICES as high as 175°F!
Hence the rampant outmigration from these torrid locales.

We had some snow in OKC today. Will be 80’s this weekend. Then dip again next week. Just normal swings this time of year

In 1920, HG Wells explained the primary cause of climate change. His book "THE OUTLINE OF HISTORY" sold millions of copies. Since then academia's understanding of climate has been reduced to mindless drivel.
