Ignoring the possible veracity/context issues,

You said theyd never lose another election

Do you understand what "if" means?

Yes my best pal Slow

My assertion is even if they did that theyd still lose often. Sorry I thought it was clear enough

How do you think Cajuns feel when they look at France?

2024 was basically the height of those 2 issues AND the DEMs had to drop their nominee for a shitty one AND there were major inflation/economic issues....and Trump barely got the majority of votes nationally. It's probably not as far off as you think.

Yes it is.

You can double check me on this cuz im not 100% sure of it but I think we are at or very near a 50 50 split of party holding the white house the last 100 years IIRC the dems have a slight edge which is likely a better frame than just total presidents.

It is the way of American politics. All things have trade offs and dropping their nasty agenda would come with them as well since theyd lose all the people they brainwashed in college thatre mostly 100k earning or more suburb types around places like Atlanta in Gwinnet Rosswell etc.

Neither party can achieve that type of dominance in our system

So your theory is these people would just never vote again?

No my theory is the Rs would move to take them in so way I have no idea how this process would play it because it could literally be anything but it would be just how Trump took the working class from the left when they abandoned them

The people who wouldn't vote DEM b/c the DEMs abandoned more extreme leftist positions and moved into more moderate positions (aka, closer to the GOP) would then...vote GOP?

Wow. Incredible if this is true. I would have thought (maybe) a quarter of the way down the list.

Great job!

Me and my research assistant do research into politics with a focus on the language of politics mostly and this can take various forms I.e how it’s changed over time all the way to how it’s shifting in our current time and where it is and isn’t impacting well or not and on who just one example. We have done a few things not on language though before.

My upper level degrees are in political linguistics.

As far as teaching I have to do the bachelors linguistics final course every year since linguistics are rare one of the rarest degrees in the country and we only have 2 and I’m the junior so it gets pushed to me. Usually I’ll take like creative writing or politics 101 or stuff like that as other classes

Having travelled a fair bit, and with relatives in Mississippi, this is a bit shocking to me.

I guess UK looks rich but is actually very poor and Mississippi looks poor but is actually very rich.

Thanks for posting this.
It’s a bit surprising that years in education doesn’t seem to correlate with productivity. Not surprisingly that more paid holidays results in less productivity.
The health care coverage is a bit suspect. While it is true they have a “free” system, the access to specialists is through a primary care gate-keeper who can be very stingy in referring out snd even if they do a crazy long wait time, effectively ensuring no timely accesss. The US has had EMTALA laws since 1986 allowing access to any person needing emergency care at any hospital in the country accepting Medicare, so all of them.

Is that per capita Minnesota legal residents or illegals, cause there’s a difference
