Sure, there are a handful of hard-Right posters who are willing to discuss the intricacies of each of these issues, but most seem to be incapable of seeing any non-binary position.
"Limitation of 2nd Amendment rights?" You probably won't find anyone on the entire forum who wants to discard the 2A. But there is LOTS to discuss about EXACTLY what it means and the details of its applicability to any given situation.
But one cannot discuss those details here without wading through the 90% of the responses that consist of very little beyond "you hate America" or various iterations of the same half-dozen popular pejoratives.
It is like trying to discuss algebra with six year olds.

There is a perverse definition of conservative that has developed here too. If Trump is for it--it is conservative. Doesn't matter how far from traditional Goldwater conservatism it is if Trump espouses it then on TD it is conservative.

As I said above, I only bother to post on topics where I disagree with the majority. Where is the fun in being the 45th person to agree with the OP? As a result, I post mostly with regard to my more Left-leaning positions. Like most libertarians, I certainly have them.
I hold plenty of positions that would get me tossed off of liberal-leaning fora ... e.g. complete opposition to all public accommodation laws and affirmative action. But why waste time on those issues. I don't need the attaboys from the peanut gallery, most of whom clearly lack the wit to even understand WHY they are correct.
Of course, I also admit to getting a certain entertainment value from poking holes in REALLY stupid arguments from Trumpettes who clearly lack much understanding of the issues on which they insist upon sharing their views.
E.g. the cake-baking cases. Mindless far-Right ideologues routinely say things that simply TELEGRAPH the fact that they do not understand the applicable law. While I might disagree with the law (I do), I also find it endlessly entertaining to watch people scream about those cases without even understanding the laws on which the cases turn.
This place operates as a giant Trump pep-rally. Yes, it is entertaining to steal the mascot. Even more so to watch morons insist that the mascot is still there.

Same as others I’m not a liberal, but as others have said this board can be exhausting. I mostly lurk these days because of how bad of a Trump echo chamber this place has become the past few years.

I’ve started threads in which the only purpose was to beg people to get their information about popular cases from SCOTUSblog instead of whatever ignorant tit is assigned the story by a major news organization

2. Sources here tend to be Breitbart or Drudge Report. Polls tend to be Rasmussen. The information this board gets is just as bad as for someone who watches only MSNBC. NPR is even full of liberal cucks on this board.
So, I just lurk to see what the board thinks on issues rather than get attacked by dozens of people calling me names while ignoring any point that was made. If you aren’t a trumpkin, nothing you say on this board ever has a chance of getting through to anyone unless they’re libertarians and can at least see both sides.

I don't understand why Drudge is considered such a bad place by democrats. Almost all the links there are to the MSM publications and English newspapers. I like drudge because all the papers are there. It seems to the Brit publications cover US politics better than the American papers do.
