Where did all the intelligent contrarians/liberals go?

Serious question. We have basically no intelligent voice from the left/opposition these days.
We get fricking tards like mastershake or clark14, or someone half-arse lazily trying to run counter to the board opinion like boosie.
It's very boring.
Unban whoever you have to unban because, frankly, if the dipshits like we have now somehow fly under your admin radar but Rex, Nt74, Iosh, DS et al stay banned (or stay away because they get admin pms), then something is grossly wrong with the system.
We get fricking tards like mastershake or clark14, or someone half-arse lazily trying to run counter to the board opinion like boosie.

Comparatively speaking, the group I mentioned is MENSA material contrasted with what leftists we have now.

I’m not a liberal and even I find this board a bit exhausting. There are a handful of posters with whom I ardently disagree yet find engaging. The rest are just regurgitating what someone else told them to say, which is in response to what someone told a liberal to say, ad nauseam. It’s gotten to the point that I very carefully choose when I post and when I simply lurk, as it’s simetimes just not worth the headache.
If a libertarian finds this board to be a bit of a chore, I can only imagine how actual liberals feel.

My posting has dwindled a bit too and you and I have similar views.
It's simply because there hasn't been much to say.
No point in arguing with the board about Q shite and no point in calling the moronic liberals we have left, morons, because the entire board feeds on their carcasses when they act like morons.

I agree, and that’s why I laugh when someone accuses me of being a closet liberal because I spend more time on here arguing with conservatives. It’s like, come on, by time I noticed the liberal idiocy, a dozen of you had already posted. Piling on at that point is just unnecessary

in my opinion most of the forums post 2016 residents do not value any real discourse but would rather see who can post the newest Trump tweet or Q drop. Imo most of the good conservatives are gone too. Only so many times you can get called a cuck for espousing conservative values i guess.

I’ve seen some fricking hateful personal attacks on here. Mods don’t seem to care, as long as it was directed at a non-conservative. It’s a shame. This board used to have some incredible diversity of thought.

I am no liberal but I am certainly a contrarian when it comes to policies by parties I support that are in conflict with individual freedom and my belief that smaller government is better government.
My experience of the last few months on this board is that the critical thinking conservatives have all but disappeared and have been replaced by shallow thinking or no thinking Trumpkins. All they want to do is insult those that say something contrary to what Trump's policies are without even trying to present a factual rebuttal.
There are absolute idiots on this board that think I am democrat progressive because I am against Trump's tariffs and am against massive increases in military spending. How crazy is that??? There is no bigger champion of smaller government and individual freedom on PT than IB Freeman.
