No they don't. I have been teaching for 30 years. Parents trust me to educate their children and help prepare them to be independent adults and productive citizens but the kids are not mine.

There are teachers and bureaucrats who really do relish the time they get your kid so they can subvert your values. I didn't get that from this lady, she was just saying they take their job seriously and the kids are their responsibility when they have them.
Never heard of her, maybe she's a loon, but I wouldn't say so just based on that clip.

In the 80's my teachers taught. I did not know their life story and they did not know mine. Educators are there to educate, not to indoctrinate.

I listened to it and this one isn't blatant like the other ones listed.
It sounds like this woman is genuinely interested in protected kids in a classroom setting. This isn't the normal Marxist tripe of "it takes a village to groom your kids".

It was the 80's, school shootings were not an issue. I did have a male teacher in the 4th grade that wanted to take me and two friends out bowling. My parents thought that would not be wise.
We learned a lot from the Different Strokes "Bicycle Shop" episode. Damnit poor Dudley getting molested and then later having Jason Vorhees trying to kill him.
