You could have just said "lawyers are scum."
For once, we'd believe you.

I'm no SloFloPeen' lawyer, but that sounds a lot like a conflict of interest to me.

And, his secretary filed an employment discrimination case against him based on sexual harassment even though the long term affair was consensual. Around that time he was ordered to have no contact with her at all. He thought it would be a nice idea to send her a child support check since the child was his. Good old Louisiana.

It's absolutely true..I have worked in SLC twice and both times the married Mormon gals were creaming their pants for me. They like to be handled, and I liked handling them.

He's very white, and was the former DA and as both DA and judge was HEAVILY "law and order" from what I've been told.

Shouldn’t this invalidate the ruling?
Most likely not, given that the two rulings from the Court have been unanimous. Plus, it is too late to redistrict for 2026.

I took the time to look in to this. From what I can tell, this judge and her then husband were friendly with that attorney. The case spoken about had been already ruled on. In early 2025, the judge’s then husband found texts between her and that attorney. Her ex said the texts started out being silly then got more serious. He mentioned this to another attorney who felt ethically bound to report it and it was reported. This judge was part of the group designated to review judicial complaints - she recused herself from that and came forward with information about the relationship. By this time, the underlying case had come back up to the Utah Supreme Court after remand for reconsideration following the original unanimous ruling. When it came back up (but before the complaint against her had been lodged I think), she recused herself from the reconsideration. The committee designated to review the complaint concluded there was no misconduct. Just relating what I saw from available sources

The February order was not ruled on by the full Court - it was 3 justice panel of which Hage was not a part of, so I don't think she recused herself - she was not on the particular panel that ruled.

She may not have been on the panel because she recused herself. Just saying
