Why? They have the exact same voter base, especially if they are on the same ticket. No one who presently refuses to vote for Donald Trump is changing their mind because Ron DeSantis is on the ticket. DeSantis brings nothing to the table in that instance -- Trump is going to lose a general election regardless of who his running mate is.
DeSantis agreeing to be Trump's running mate would be one of the dumbest and pointless political decisions ever.

Unlike like y'all, I think Ron is too smart to run in 2024.
If he goes against Trump and loses, it will make him look weak. Either he can alienate Trump supporters now, or wait till next time to have Trump supporters on his side.

He's absolutely the best candidate, but he shouldn't run against Trump, and he absolutely shouldn't agree to be on the ticket with Trump.
