So your argument is literally that Trump is promoting Leftism-Marxism? Again?

Yeah, OK. And then this was adopted by MAGA republicans? That's the reason why we hate each other on the PB?

The daily battles on here indicate we are divided down the middle or that DeSantis supporters are the minority. However, the board poll we did last week shows there is a large silent majority behind DeSantis lurking here. Now that we know that, it’s apparent the “division” is most coming from the Trump cucks who can’t deal with the feeling of their leader slowly slipping into irrelevance, so they follow Trump’s lead in lashing out and trying to distort reality.

Trump did awful with the economy, world peace, the border, exposing the deep state, etc…….

Trump's "great deeds" lasted up until the 1st day Biden got in office. Trump's legacy on policy is non-existent because he didn't codify anything. He has a partial wall built. The economy is teetering on collapse, we have war in Ukraine and high tensions in the East. The deep state is tap dancing on camera for all the world to watch.

I voted for Trump twice and will vote for him in 2024 if he gets the nod, but he did a shite job of having a lasting effect on this country, other than tweets. My preference for 2024 is DeSantis and it's not even close.

Trump will need these voters. And I'll bet he will do nothing to get them. My way or the highway shite right?

Trump's main lasting legacy is the tax cut.

Border wall? Fail
Immigration policy? Fail
Overturning the ACA? fail
Stopping the Deep State? Fail so bad he got super-cucked by them
Schedule F? Fail

And that's before we talk about his reckless spending and being cucked by Fauci.

Trump started blasting Ron early in the year and it's been a civil war ever since then.

How does this bounce around in your head and not dislodge a coherent thought?

Wanna know who Trump isnt blasting? Youngkin, Noem, Sanders, Stitt, ya know governors who didnt hatch a secretive plan with the GOPe to run against Trump

Rob was already planning his run before he even had the re-election results. He deserves to have his arse handed to him as a lesson to future politicians. Finish the job you were elected to do, before you run away from it

Seemed like it happened overnight and it was when Trump started attacking DeSantis. Some traitors on here dared say they would rather have Ron than Trump and all hell broke loose. The only people here who didn't support DeSantis were leftists until Trump pitched a fit because Ron started grabbing a little of the spotlight. Now the same handful of Trump worshippers rabidly attack DeSantis every single day while at the same time insisting that he's not a threat because Trump is dominating the polls. The whole thing is personal

lolwat

its 100% true.

Trump did GREAT with things in his direct control: deregulation and EO.

The problem with that is its Vapor Policy. It evaporated day 1 under Biden.

He got virtually nothing done legislatively, which is how you make real, lasting change.

Obama knew this and did both, he used more EOs than anyone AND hammered through legislation.

Nope, it's often discussed with true journalism in some parts of the country, but not on DU sorry cuck.

From 2016 all through early 2022 there was a decidedly positive sentiment about Trump. Most all recognized that he had won back to back elections handily and been cheated out of the second but was still a great candidate and president. From 2020 on people also recognized DeSantis had his head on straight and could be great for the country as well.

I think the biggest change is that many people blame Trump for not draining the swamp (because he didn't realize the swamp is larger and deeper than the Pacific ocean), locking up Hillary etc. He also had some stupid (horrible) picks for certain positions.

That being said I still approve of most of his policies and feel he was trying to make America a better place. But it was just him vs the entire DC establishment. It is amazing the success he had economically and diplomatically (no wars) with everyone, GOPe, Dems, media and bureaucrats against him.

I will vote for either him or Desantis in the general. Either would be better than the puppet\commie\POS Biden or Harris.

When did this board get so divided?

Conservative voters pretend they're above the fray, and have transcended tribalism. Visit this board at any time of day, and you'll see the opposite.

Conservative voters also pretend they're immune to the Establishment's gaslighting and division tactics. You need not even look past the first page of responses to your OP to see evidence of the contrary.

Conservative voters "love this country so much and will do anything it takes to save it", well, except for agreeing to support whoever comes out on top in the Team Trump vs. Team BDR pissing contest.

Conservative voters are no better than the liberal sheep they incessantly mock. Posters on this very board are no different than the polarized NPCs over on Reddit and DU.

It's been a pretty eye-opening and disheartening couple of years on tPT. One visit to this page is evidence enough of how and why America has failed, and is beyond repair. I'm not even sure a balkanization or national divorce would save us now.
