Tide pod eating dreamers. When did they come out of the woodshed? Was it when Obama was elected?

Today's kids aren't millenials.

Millenials are in their 20s to early 30s now.

When the Obama economic recovery provided no jobs for them.
Now they are socialists. Mission accomplished.

I don’t think people like you realize millennial’s are now up to 36 years old. Millennial became a buzz word a decade agoand now it’s just a term used to refer to young people.

I’m a millennial, I’m 27 and what the OP is referring to 100% included the millennials in their early/mid 30s. In fact I’d wager it’s the upper 20s lower 30s that tend to be more socialist because of going to grad school and incurring an insane amount of debt. They also tend to want to live in large cities (away from home) in doing so rent is supper expensive and the fear of fomo is real.

Even late 30's. Pew Research settled on 1981-1996 which puts the oldest millennials at 37.

Progressive liberalism destroyed the family entity and destroyed the moral compass of humanity.

I'm 33. Most in my generation from my anecdotal evidence of knowing people are fiscally conservative and socially liberal. Let gays get married, weed should be legal, you do you, etc. Also for lower taxes and more power to state governments, for the reduction of Federal powers and reduction in entitlements. We essentially want adults to be responsible and be adults. We discipline our kids. We pay our student loans back and tailor our lives to account for debt and saving money is a priority. We entered the workforce just before the economic downturn and many of us were laid off or were scared for our jobs early in our working careers.

The "older" side of mellenials are not the problem. People born 1991 and on are the issue IMO.

I'm almost 41 and this is essentially me. I'm a straight, white guy though and vote more in line with my checkbook than my heart

As already stated on this thread, on average, we grew up during the internet revolution and became adults in a security theater post-9/11 world. In short, we aren't the ones eating Tide Pods; we're the ones dog-whipping your cohort at work, causing you to bitch that we just don't have any respect for "loyalty and experience".

We became the largest generation in the workforce in 2016. It's only climbed since then. It's our world now; you're just living in it, old man.

Spoke to a millennial yesterday to share my experiences about opening a new business. He just seemed detached - not wanting to grab the reigns and be a part of the conversation. I think millennials unconsciously keep a distance from declaring or actually doing anything so they'll always have an out. Their lack of commitment about ANYTHING puzzles me. It's their defense against personal accountability.

Yes. He “talked to them like they were 5”

Because that’s how they act.

Not millennials, that's gen Z. Millenials are 23-36 or close to that.

Its not the millenials that are the problem, it was the adults who raised and educated them, coupled with the culture dictated by those older folks.

The youngest generation will be highly conservative, but not in your grandpa kind of way. They will be very libertarian and abrasive to PC culture. "The man" of the 60s is now the triggered left who is writing a Torah like code of living a PC life. Conservative kids will be the counter-culture
