On average, Boomers are lazy, unimaginative, entitled counts.

Honestly, I feel bad for Gen X. They bought into the Boomer bullshite, not realizing they were getting conned.

Today's kids aren't millenials. Millenials are in their 20s to early 30s now.

Even late 30's. Pew Research settled on 1981-1996 which puts the oldest millennials at 37.

i have always gotten into the millennial bracket fight. and i could get down with this. The OG definition of a millennial was the generation of people that "came of age" around the millennium. not ones born up to the millennium. So I truly believe it should be restricted to 1989 or around there. But until the sub bracket of Xenials is recognized, i could live with up to '96.

The reason is people born in the 1980's remember live pre internet. while people born in the mid 90's do not. to me that is the big factor that should distinguish this generation. With that said all the crap thrown at millenials would be directed to the group born in the late 1990's and 2000's bcecause they are the entitled ****s that have been ruining the country.

It's their defense against personal accountability

imagine if we all made generalizations about an entire age range of people based on talking to 1 person.

Obama was elected because large black voter turnout and white guilt across all generations.

Majority of millenials don’t care about politics anyway. Which is Our biggest problem.

Millennials are nothing more than a mirror image of their shitty baby boomer parents, who were far more spoiled than they accuse their kids of being.

which is why Xenials should be a sub generation. Most Millenials born in the early 1980's relate more to Gen X born in the 1970's than they do the Millenials born in the 1990's

As already stated on this thread, on average, we grew up during the internet revolution and became adults in a security theater post-9/11 world.
oohhh so you really arnet a true OG Millenial? you are a snowflake.

we're the ones dog-whipping your cohort at work, causing you to bitch that we just don't have any respect for "loyalty and experience".
oohh dont lump yourself into the OG Millenial group that this refers to. how long have you been in the work force? 5 years.

not thats just stupid. that not a "millennial" trait. That is a trait of a slapdick.

i can somwhat agree with this, because, at least in my experience, I want to take the best most rewarding path. And then you use the Baby boomer model and sell your soul for the next 20 years, thats attaching yourself to something that might not be the best route the next year. So yea, i can see how we dont want to attach ourselves to certain things.

now thats just an idiotic statement. They are getting blamed for everything the Boomers set up to fail.

The frick are you talking about?

I was using “we” to cover the entire generation. While I’m disinclined to give an exact number, I’m in my early to mid 30’s.

See above. And in my anecdotal experience, even the younger members of my generation are whipping your asses.

Parents share some of the blame, but millennials are terrible.

Kinda generalizing there aren't you? Not to be a dick, but maybe your experiences about opening a new business weren't as thought-provoking or interesting as you believe they were. Maybe he had something important he needed to focus on and he was trying to be nice by listening to your stories. I'm all for some millennial bashing but lets be reasonable

Not true; a lazy generalization. What constitutes practical knowledge has changed greatly in the past 30 or more years; it's likely that they have more practical knowledge today than any other generational subset has.

Bitching about younger generations. This has only been going on since, I don't know, the beginning of humanity.

60 years ago, old people were convinced rock and roll was the music of the devil and it would ruin the young generations.
