Scientism requires faith. Like all religions.
This is a huge false equivalency, but I'd be surprised if you could even correctly name what science requires faith in.

Since when are we supposed to disregard all of this and blindly follow science as some kind of absolute, unquestionable doctrine?
I can't say when but I can say how that happened. When some one values something but is ignorant of it, you can have them believe anything you want then to believe.
Most people have very little scientific education. Most people will never see a high school chemistry or physics class and honestly their knowledge of science consist on what they see on TV. They are conditioned to accept what they are told, not question what was said. It's amazing how many theories people believe are fact but it's just theories. Hear it enough and it becomes fact to them. Those pushing it are the experts and no one else can challenge them.

Scientism or Scientificism is not something that is necessarily new. In
In he late 1800's during the guilded age it was all the rage...think Darwin and all the technological advancements that came between the end of the Civil War and WWI. The super wealthy embraced it, manly because it was a huge benefit to them. WWI however shook their faith in it with the death and destruction that it wrought. Today's manifestation is not much different overall. The glaring difference today is the lack of any traditional religious underpinning. Carnegie at least said he believed in God. Rockefeller was active in the Baptist church, etc. Today's robber barons and wealthy get off in saying they are atheist.
During the enlightenment people thought guys like Newton and Galileo were sent by God and the intellectual and ruling classes of Europe treated them as profits.

We could start with the Big Bang THEORY.

Science isn't s religion. I'm not clear what you mean?

If more people followed the science
One does not "follow science", ever. You adhere to the scientific method to research and make predictions on the natural world.
If you "follow science", you get things like the Tuskegee Syphilis Study, Josef Mengele, The Little Albert Experiment, etc, etc, etc.
The scientific method is not political, it is not philosophical, and it does not usurp spirituality, morality, or ethics.

Oh yes it is. Especially idiots that know nothing about it, constantly invoking it

Are you serious, Religion and Christianity will always dominate over science and what ever nonsense Bill Gates wants to spew about eating children

Mathematics - Assumptions such as 1=1, 1+1=2, 1+2=3
Physics - the Law of Gravity
Biology - the definition of "life", as in viruses are not alive, prions are not alive, etc.
Observation
Repeatability
Publishing
Peer Review
etc, etc, etc.

Environmentalism requires a lot of blind faith.

We have public schools here in East Baton Rouge parish that teach "creative" science. I'm not kidding.

Think about it:
Schools used to be for education. Now they are for propaganda.
Weather forecasting used to be for agriculture. Now it's for propaganda.
Sports on TV used to be for entertainment. Now it's for propaganda.
Science used to be for discovery of truth. Now it's for propaganda.
Do you see a trend?

I'm begging you guys...stop.
"Just a Theory"

Stupid people made science into a religion.
They don't get that while it's wise to follow established scientific laws, scientists themselves can become corrupt, lying sacks of shyte who can manipulate data and outcomes of "experiments" for personal gain or just plain laziness.
So believe in established scientific laws all you want.
Just know that scientists themselves are not always trustworthy.
FWIW I have a bachelor's in engineering.

Maybe you're not understanding. Some of the things you listed here require faith, others do not.
Would you like to try again? It's very simple and the faith is at the heart of the scientific method.
I can give you another hint? You exercise the same faith everytime you flush the toilet.

Global Warming priests created it when they realized they could launder tax dollars out of government to the leftists.
