McEnany is a DC creature. Most who worked for him were...nature of the swamp. Trump's voters despise DC and Trump knows it. He's playing a character, but it works. McEnany is going to support the DC-preferred republican, DeSantis. Trump's just getting ahead of the attacks soon to come now that Ron's announced.
