Trump just said some states could begin Phase 1 as early as tomorrow with approval from the state's Governor. They would have to go back 14 days from today to meet the criteria.

How many days are we from Louisiana meeting the criteria?

How many days have we had a downward trend in cases?

What are the criteria?

If it requires the state government to have any level of competence, then I expect the program will be over before we qualify.

JBE is a BOZO with ZERO economic sense. His idea of a budget is tax those without money, file suit against any productive business in the State, and increase the budget for an OVER BLOATED State government. He loves natural disasters so he can take in FED money and blame all of the States woes on said disaster. Now, many of the so called GOP members in this State are complete frauds, so I am not giving their sorry asses a pass either. The answer to your question is NO TIME SOON ! He's going to milk this for everything it's worth.

If it has to be 14 consecutive days where positive cases decrease day over day, then we are at Day 0 right now. We just an increase in positive cases over yesterday.

OT Tracking Thread

I don't think we would meet any of the criteria right now.

Probably so, but I don't trust JBE and the mayors of NO and BR to get it right

Downward trajectory of positive tests as a percent of total tests within a 14-day period(flat or increasing volume of tests)

or

Downward trajectory of documented cases within a 14-day period

So anyone think that they’ll cook the numbers? And honestly if there’s a backlog these numbers will be affected without being cooked.

Our Governor (although unlikely) has the authority to leave this decision up to Parish and City officials. This doesn't have to be implemented statewide.
