Can anyone point to a moderate Dem that is gaining traction among their party?

In the 2020 election cycle? Not a chance.

I believe Beck is right on 2020.

The Dems are hoping for/banking on/possibly planning an economic fallout in 2019/2020 so that they can get one of these loons in. That's why there isn't a move to the center. They are done with that charade.

Fundamentally transforming this country. That was the stated goal and it was achieved.

In the middle of one of the greatest economies in American history, We literally have people going crazy over who the President is.

I think Biden is a creepy lunatic leftist. I just think he may come out as the least objectionable option for the "super delegates."

They burned Bernie the same way.

Why do politicians keep trying this embarrassing recent phenomenon of trying to be cool?

Hilary hot sauce
Obama’s basketball “skills”
Kamala smoking weed to non existent 80’s rappers
Beto thinking he’s tony hawk

How do progressives put up with that shite?

BOOM. The two most chilling words I had ever hear in a campaign speech in my six decades.

I think social media may have forever killed the bland, don’t rock the boat candidate

Trump massacred the bland Republican candidates in 2016. The only Republican to really give him somewhat of a fight was probably the most traditionally conservative of the field (Cruz).

This thread is a waste of time they aren't moving to the even fake middle I FEEL YOUR PAIN. The globalist deep state lost a lot of ground with Trump's election. They don't have no time to waste to BS with fake moderacy or even too much BS pandering to the working class.

It is full blown marxist globalist communism PERIOD. AKA Transnational marxist globalism.

Scary to say Beck may be right

If you looked at leftist twitter you’d swear we were in the middle of a crisis - yet the economy is performing well, we have engaged in no new wars (in fact, troops are coming home), no one’s “rights” have been violated, etc

They are essentially banking on the notion that enough of the electorate has actually flipped to find this palatable enough to win a national election.

I'm banking on the notion that it hasn't. If it has, it's truly terrifying.

How does that excite the multitudes they need (AAs and hispanics, among others) to win a national election?

For the past several years they have been driven to establish a line of thought that explicitly states the poor will be the most damaged via climate change.

Couple that with their desire to tax the wealthy and corporations, who in their minds are the most responsible for global warming, and you have a multi-level attack.

That's a fair point, but I would offer you 1 counter.

The hate for Trump trumps everything with dems. They will sell out all of their beliefs in an effort for power. They will always rally behind their flag. See Bernie cucking for Hillary.

If they think that they have a chance to beat Trump, all candidates regardless of everything will get denied the nomination for their chosen one. The Dem king makers will make the decision not the people.

It may fracture the party, but they are counting on their sheep to follow orders which they are good at doing.

Hillary had the support of the far left feminists

With her money and DNC infrastructure, the rest of the field had no chance

What’s Biden’s base? The 2000 straight white Male dems left?

We get made fun of for hyperbole, but if someone wins the Whitehouse running on nonsense like the green new deal, dismantling ICE, and free everything, the American experiment is done

Tulsi Gabbard is pretty far left but she would definitely be the most moderate from the field thus far. However, she's already under attack by the DNC establishment, meaning she is a true threat to their direction... so she won't make it too far.

Biden and Bernie are just too damn, well, white for the 2020 nomination. Party of tolerance and acceptance and shite and whatnot.

I see it being Booker or Harris. And that's hysterical because Trump will eviscerate either in the debates and win by a landslide. 4 more years, incoming.
