Can anyone point to a moderate Dem that is gaining traction among their party?

Define what a modern Dem stands for?

I feel as though “moderate” in that party means being like Beto, to where you say feel good stuff but don’t really answer uncomfortable questions or articulate real policy.

With the field so far uniformly endorsing the Green New Deal - when is this moderate swing coming?

what's weird is that they're marginalizing tulsi for being extremist. she's a socialist kook but is anti-war so she's extreme

They've really boxed themselves in. The craziest among them have the biggest platform. Folks like AOC will not sit quietly in the corner

As we all know its always been for both parties after the party primaries.

But damn if I see that happening for the 2020 election cycle.

Look for a dem to enter the race late. It'll be someone who isn't talking right now

cough Joe Biden cough. He will lean on Obama and he will seem the most reasonable. Dems will accept him as the only guy who can beat Trump.

People are underrating the power of social media

I’d think a Dem who would start pushing back on the new norm would be DOA based on the social media backlash alone

The DNC's entire focus will be on global warming in 2020.

They will wait until two weeks before the election and then go full bore with their "centrists" ads and most on their side will fall for it. Something about short term memory comes to mind.

How does that excite the multitudes they need (AAs and hispanics, among others) to win a national election?

she seems to be the early power broker’s favorite but yeah, I think she’s actually kind of a boring candidate despite her age and looks

That interview was hilarious. It was the equivalent of Hillary’s “hot sauce in purse” speech

Let’s say you’re on the more radical side like Warren, Booker, Harris, etc

Would you really let Biden pussy foot around on a debate stage with what he wanted to do?
