Kennedy was before my time, but all Presidents have and will make mistakes. Kennedy had "the bay of pigs" for one. Reagan had the Iran-Contra issue. Not saying Reagan was a bad President but his "Reaganomics" tripled the national debt. The us Presidency is almost perfectly constructed when inconcert with the other two branches of goverment, the problem is a person has to be put in the seat, people have faults. I support the office, never the man in the seat.

Reagan inspired people, made them feel positive and good about the future. He could walk in a room at a low point and leave people inspired.

That is about all I look for in a president. His policies were a mixed bag.

He was a fantastic president, and most americans agree with me..... he came within 3000 votes of winning all 50 states.
