I have encountered a Klan member one time in my life. Little village north of Ruston called Vienna hwy. 167 used to be a 2 lane road in early 90’s. I was 16 and they were flagging down cars and giving them cards for the klan or something. They were dressed normal so I didn’t know what was going on. They handed me a card, but I don’t remember what it said or anything. I guess I threw it away. I found years later in College that Choudrant, outside Ruston, was the state headquarters for the Klan. I lived between Rustonand Choudrant my whole life and never had a clue.

Over the past 50 years I’ve lived in 4 different southern states and have never seen a kkk member or rally. Plus the kkk was founded by democrats. Nothing but a scare tactic from the ignorant to the ignorant

The Democrats over-used the word racist to the point that it lost its meaning. When everything is racist, nothing is racist. My 13yo calls things she doesn't like racist. Since racist lost its meaning, the Democrats pivoted to white supremacy since that sounded worse.
The term white supremacy is actually racist as it means someone or something is better just because it's white.

I grew up in Vernon Parish (40's - 50's) and in Anacoco there was a house with a KKK symbol over the workshop in the back. On trips thru there since the 70s did not see it.
There is a place on Belview Rd that has a high 12-15 ft fence all around it. Alway suspected that it was a KKK hangout.
