Tell me about this group and what strides they've taken to differentiate themselves from other Republics. I mean in addition to throwing the worst insurrection party ever.

As a former Democrat of the 70's/80's I can tell you first hand that all my family, extended family and friends came from blue collar/union working class demographic, nearly everyone one of us are America First now.
You just explained the phenomenon. MAGA is full of Democrats who want to destroy the Republican party and overturn society.
Sounds familiar.
MAGA has changed, not the Republican party

The destruction of the Republican Party would be catastrophic for the regime.

Hes the poster child. Even draws back at the word "conservative."

I really hope you do not actually believe this?
IKE Republican
REGAN Republican (the REAL MAGA)
TRUMP Republican (the FAKE MAGA)
Can you really look me in the eye and tell me IKE would recognize TRUMP as a Republican?

This is mostly correct. I don’t think the Dims are currently up because they are winning, I think they appear to currently be on top because Trump broke up the Republican Party. All of the Dim gains since 2016 have been in the suburbs, where people tend to not be as gung-ho about culture war issues and just want to hang on to some normalcy. The universities and schools and (as a result) the young people are a lot farther to the left than the DNC. If Bernie Sanders had won the primaries they would be in the exact same position the Republican Party is currently in. Because the DNC put their thumbs on the scale, they bought themselves some time. Eventually those contradictions will split them up as well.
Basically Trump’s victory in 2016 blew up both parties and the Dim leadership is operating under the delusion that they can keep control just by fueling Trump outrage or running on abortion. They can’t and won’t, and who knows what comes next other than that it will be far different from the way the two parties were in the 80s and 90

Republican Party is split a million different directions.
Primary three are Establishment, MAGA, Traditional Conservative.
All three on their own are general election losers, but that hasn’t stopped them from political attacks against each other at every opportunity.
To win a general, they’ll need a candidate that can bridge two of those three groups. Anyone that can big two of those three is likely to be liked enough among independents to actually win a general election.
Nah, we are a cult.

No they won't. They'll still line up, hold their noses, and vote for the primary winner on election day. They're so much more unified in voting than Republicans are, and we have people who wonder why our side keeps losing.

Give your definition of conservatism or use Google and paste that.

We did not take the pain of the oil shocks in the 70's and suffer the 80's to correct it. Instead we took on debt and pushed it all forward.
What you're describing here ^^^^ is what happens when cowardice and corruption shake hands in the political realm and agree to coexist at the expense of the American people.

What's happened to the Republican Party?
Fractured and scattered to the four winds because the spineless GOPe cowards have chosen to be naught more than the Controlled Opposition Wing of the Establishment Uniparty.
The time for a painful reckoning has come and gone.

the party didn't change. reality became perception

A big reason the GOP is full of RINOs and marxist sympathizers, is exactly that many, many people who were Dems years ago have run across the aisle as they’ve realized what a freakshow the left has become.
The GOP is full of Democrats, and they’re eroding the platform.
If what you say is true, which I kinda agree, it's not the street level America First/MAGA folks, it's the political class and the Country Club establishment republicans like the Bushes, Cheneys, Rumsfeld, Joe Cuckborough, Bill Kristol, Michael Steele, Karl Rove, John Bolton, James Comey, Bill Barr, and on and on who are 100% Globalist rather than America First, that is the Rino portion of the Republican Party.
Guess who else believes in Globalism under the authority of a New World Order? The Dims/Groomers.

There has basically been a 180 of the political spectrum in the last two or three decades. The elitists used to be Republicans but are now Democrats. The populists used to be Democrats but are now Republicans. The monkey wrench that has been thrown into this is that neither party's leadership sees this.

So what's happened to the Republican Party?
They joined the Democratic Party in the toilet of populism, just on the opposite side (most of the time) of the bowl.
