If things devolved to that point, anyone protesting VIOLENTLY gets whatever comes to them.
This nation has is infected with an attitude of entitlement, and we see this exclusively on the left. Their political leaders push the idea that it's ok to break the law to achieve their goals.
Honestly, nothing will be able to change this. The US is on track for serious political violence.
Regardless of who we elect or how successful Trumps strategy ends up being, the Marxist Dems will not stop their present direction.
Its only the left we see perpetrating violence. Eventually, this will be dealt with and it probably won't be the government.

You make it sound like these Marines are simply coming in with shoot to kill orders. I would absolutely oppose that. But if the insurrectionisrs decide to escalate I would have those Marines on a fairly short leash iin regard to defending themselves and securing the area.

If someone is wrapping themselves in another nations flag AND participating in violent protest, I have zero issue with that person being shot by law enforcement for refusing to stop participating in a riot.
Outside of a riot or violent protest, anyone wrapping themeselves another nations flag should be directly shipped out to that nation.
