I know a couple and neither was a surprise. I don’t know any who were normal in their mid to late teens and suddenly decided to start sucking dick at college.
There are no absolutes but parents can greatly impact the odds.

It existed ppl just feared the societial backlash. Which they should.

My daughter in the 4th grade says to me the other day she has a friend who says he's gay but thinks he's just pretending to get attention. She doesn't care that he is gay or not but just thinks it's an act.

The reality is that the people on this forum would love and accept their kids.
No one is cutting their kids out of their life or forcing a kid over 18 into therapy.
Younger possibly but doubtful. Just like people on here don't cut out women who have abortions from their life even though they claim it's "murder"

No you most likely wouldn't.
You would have your own child that you have known all your life genuinely and honestly tell you they are the gender or non binary human they are.
And most likely - if you aren't a monster - you would help them in their life however you could.
Because it's your kid.

I replies To a poster that said they would kick their child out the house. Can’t have that opinion and pretend this is about the well-being of children.
