What would this country look like if Trump didn't sign the CARES act?

Trump might be in office if he didn't sign this disastrous piece of legislation in March 2020.

Hope he regrets giving in to the politicians. This is why they will never let him be president again . If he wins in 2024 then he doesn’t have to worry about re-election and can lay down the law .

He threw his own presidency by giving into 15 days and CARES. It sunk him, he gave in because the pollsters and the media pressured him.
Because of CARES and 15 days, we shut down the economy, killed jobs, and opened pandoras box to mail in ballots and drop boxes.

Then why not fight them? You aren't going to defeat them by capitulating to them.
Throughout history, the left has used the Republicans to pass legislation that seemed reasonable at the time, but the left knew they could later use it to their advantage. Almost every shitty alphabet agency in this country and the Patriot Act, ending of the gold standard, opening up to China, this was all done by Republicans under the guise of being reasonable at the time.

This is BS. Trump put himself in a no win situation by going with the 15 days, and then the 30 days. He opened the floodgates.

The CARES act gave them to tools to cheat their arse off. As soon as he signed it, he signed his own death warrant and the country's death warrant for that matter.
