I’ve never voted for a leftist. That would be voting against my religious beliefs, work ethic, and the constitution.

My views are right-leaning libertarian, so historically I have voted GOP about 90% of the time, though I have voted for a scattering of LPA candidates in recent years.
The sole exception has been elections for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, where I have split about evenly between GOP and Dem candidates. Far too many of the GOP candidates in those races (with their “tough on crime” campaign rhetoric) have had a history which indicated to me that they would fail to protect the Constitutional rights of criminal defendants.
Respect for constitutional rights simply trumped problematic statewide or national party platform positions on fiscal and/or social policy ... especially given the fact that judges do not (as a general rule) set social or fiscal policy in criminal cases.
2016 was the first Presidential election in which I did not vote GOP, starting back with Reagan. I voted LPA because I loathe Donald Trump, and there was no chance HRC would win Texas. Had it been close, I would have held my gorge and voted for the useless bastard.

Never voted for a democrat but voted for Gary Johnson in the last election. I wasn’t a huge fan of trump, although I wanted him to beat Hillary. I really, really disliked Hillary. I will likely vote for the Donald this November.

Same here. Have never voted Democrat in a Presidential election, however I’ve voted D in local elections from time to time.

Goldwater was right about the extra-Constitutional expansion of power of the Federal government (which, honestly, had already metastasized beyond treatment at that point, anyway).
And Goldwater was NOT against "civil rights" - he was against the 1964 CRA on principle.

You didn’t want it too damn bad if you voted 3rd party.

I love posters who do not understand the Electoral College. Really, I do.

Voted for Edwin Edwards against David Duke for Louisiana Governor in the early 90's.
No way would I vote for a former KKK leader as Governor.

Never have voted for a Dem in state or national elections, only local elections. Not even sure when I did that last.

I never have and never will vote for a democrat. The reason is quite simple, I don't hate my country and I'm not a terrorist. Hence the democrat party would have no use for me

R vs D has become a vote for the Constitutional Republic vs Socialism, so, yeah, I’d vote for any Republican over a Dem.

I have never voted for a Democrat in my entire life and never will.
Knowingly or unknowingly, Democrats are now enemies of this country

It would depend on his platform.
I left it blank in 2008 and 2012 , McCain loved amnesty and Romney was/is a pussy.

One time. I’m republican but I could not vote for David Duke. Picked Edwin Edwards

The only time my parents ever voted for a democrat.
I've voted 3rd party 2x because I didn't like McCain nor Romney. Ironically, SP called it with the Obama/McCain skit where the two were in cahoots for a jewel heist. Only the jewels were Obamacare and it would take a full two terms to pass to see the seeds they planted start to sprout into the corruption we all could see.
