Apparently, you have to be around an infected person or in my case student or fellow teacher for exactly 15 minutes.

I cant make this up, my wife who is also a teacher, (no pics) was told by her principal that they have to take a snap shot every 15 minutes of their class so that if a student has the rona they can see who that student had come in contact for at least 15 minutes. The principal then told her to make sure they set a timer anytime they are around a student so that they wont be around the student for more than 15 minutes. This came from the school board and my wife's principal was being very sarcastic while telling her staff this info because she sees it as BS as well, but this crap cannot be made up.

Hate to tell you, but your wife is identifying which students she wants to bang. Sorry.

When I was in college we had a 5 inch rule. If you didn't catch the food at least 5 inches from the floor don't eat it!!

At the very beginning of the pandemic, they said you had be within 6 feet of an infected person for 15 mins to be at risk. Then governors decided just randomly passing by someone would kill us all so everything had to be shut down.

These people that are in charge of providing education to our children cannot come up with a simple plan... It is absolutely pathetic that a properly vetted plan was not in place given the time the students have been away...

It is happening most places... stupid shite...

One system here is going "blended" by grade... two days for 9th and 11th and two days for 10th and 12th with the other three days virtual... Now, did anyone ask if this actually reduces class size? Probably the one place that students will be in a confined place for longer than 15 minutes during the day... Simple deduction tells anyone with half a brain that it doesn't...

Educators lack critical thinking skills. It's sad that that statement is true.

Your daughter is filmed every time she goes to a business.
If photos are important, for health reasons, video the class and destroy the tape after fourteen days

They’ve all come up with plans. And almost every district in an urban area (with a large media presence) has folded to avoid negative publicity.

They all know the risk is low. They just don’t want their school on the front page of the paper.

ETA: a local school super told me the above almost verbatim. He had planned 5 day face to face education, but no one else in St. Louis was doing it. So he didn’t.
