I think there's still hope 
After the Dems fail in 2020 miserably despite all the news channels campaigning for them, I could see someone pulling a Trump in that party too.
Somebody will figure out that all the virtue signalling and ultra-minority pandering only gets you so far with the big urban areas, and it dooms you in everywhere else. You have to address the actual mainstream to win nationally. It doesn't even have to be a current Dem to do so, remember Trump wasn't Republican not that long ago. He saw that was the party more ripe for the taking. Right now, that party is the Democrat party.

Too many immigrants made the melting pot overflow. A small number of communists turned our schools and colleges into virus factories to make more. Meanwhile, capitalism failed to self police. The culture suffered a loss of faith as a majority embraced secular humanism or moralistic therapeutic deism.
