I think you forgot about this state called Mississippi.

This thread makes it sound like in the end the whole country will be blue. Is it not possible that some blues go red? (FWIW I hate the tribalism and think there are some good and bad ideas on both sides) Also, the battle lines change. California used to to be solid red, and the South was 100% blue.

Nah, the DNC tossed everything they had behind Beto and couldn’t beat the zodiac during Trumps “blue wave” mid term.

The further socially left dems go the less Inspired the “demographics” will be to vote for them.

A Dino can win here but your Austin liberal is going to get creamed state wind

The industrial midwest is clearly getting more conservative

The realignment currently is suburbs getting bluer, rural and industrial areas that had previously been populist dem areas, going red.

People keep saying Texas. I don’t think many of you have spent much of any time in Texas outside of the cities. Outside of the Texas triangle, the state is no different than Mississippi. Even within the populous centers, all of the suburbs are solid red. Texas is a major agriculture/oil & gas state. Both of which are controlled by Republicans. We ain’t going no where don’t worry. It’s not out of the ordinary for cities even in the south to be liberal. That doesn’t mean the whole state is turning.

New York and Northern California are pretty conservative but they always get overruled by the cities. Same thing could happen in Tejas.

Arkansas took the hardest right turn possible in the last decade.

Our threat is in NWA, but it’ll take a generation or two for the relative wealth and spoiled kids to take it for granted and ally with the Fayettevillians to have the numbers.

Right now we’re in a hey day of cultural conservatives, $$ conservatives, and relatively inexperienced state politicians who will follow conservative marching orders.

It's like cancer, unfortunately. It will spread everywhere until the country collapses.

Louisiana

Most state level officials have a R behind their name, but the residents are too stupid to realize they are as democrat as they come.

I think people incorrectly assume that the Hispanic vote will always vote as a group.

A lot of immigrant groups in history have voted as a group at first, but after a while they fold into the country and their politics spread out. I don’t see any reason to think that won’t happen.
