Check out @PolyPatriot's Tweet: LINK

This is an electoral voter in Texas that is going to refuse to vote for Trump. Life in prison seems fair to me. Should there be a criminal penalty for going against the will of the people.

How about not being elected in their next term.

Funny that this board was yucking it up when electors said they wouldn't vote for Hillary but suddenly now y'all are pissed off at ones who say they won't vote for Trump.

Shouldn't be allowed other than for catastrophic reasons (Death, Imprisonment, Zombie Apocalypse, etc...)

How about just ignoring the stupid fricks and denying them the 15 minutes they so desperately crave

There's a bit of difference between saying, "I think the President Elect is a corrupt criminal and has jeopardized our national security", and "I think the President Elect is an a-hole."

See a difference?

Nope. They can vote for whoever the hell they want. That's their right.

Again, it's pretty damn funny that when the shoe is on the other foot you guys start throwing a hissy fit about it.

Another great idea would be to leave them penniless on the street and make it illegal for anyone to help them.

Downvote.

Being banned for life from ever being an elector ever again seems fair to me.

Do you really want that precedent set? You want your votes being meaningless because those frick's just do what they please?

I don't what that dick from Washington to not vote for Hillary either. Do what your state says.

IMO, that loop hole is the most fricked up part of our governmental operating procedure.

As long as it's public and includes his family and friends and extended relatives.

Seriously this, do you really want this to be a common occurrence because it would eventually lead to drastic changes that only a handful would actually be happy with. Libs are the most short-sighted people on the planet. We want power now to hell with the process.

Before clicking the link I assumed he would look like a cuck. Clicking the link confirmed that I was right.

FIFY, and no he would not be "saving the republic."

I still cannot grasp how a lot of people like you thought that Hillary, a vehement sexist and bigot, had the temperament to be POTUS.

Instant death penalty, with no financial support (public or private) given to their families. If you hold so tightly to your personal political ideology that you are willing to violate an oath to the people that you are representing and you would willingly give your life with no aid to your family, then by all means go for it. If not, shut the frick up and fulfill your obligation.

FWIW, I would say the same thing about a Trump supporting elector refusing to vote for Clinton if she won the state he/she represents.
