Remember Michael Brown with FEMA during Katrina?

Yes I remember. I also remember that it was an unprecedented disaster, a category 2-3 storm that was pushing a category 5 like storm surge. No one would have done significantly better.

Discipline.

That he'll get drawn into little sideshow fights that will distract from bigger issues.

Corruption like this country has never seen before. Trump running the presidency like it is an extension of his personal enterprise. Incredible violations of the constitution and personal liberties of the populace. This is my expectation.

My legitimate biggest concern is that Trump gets bored 2 years from now and resigns, making Mike Pence the 46th President of the United States.

His trade tariffs plan would be immediately inflationary. His fiscal stimulus plans will increase the debt on top of the mountain we already have, and maybe inflationary too. I doubt the fed will be as accommodating for Trump as they were for Obama; Yellen has already starting suggesting that's the case. It could be a very bad combination, extreme debt and rapidly rising interest rates. Trouble's coming sooner or later either way, but I'm not looking forward to it.

its called projecting. Denying the existence of qualities in themselves while attributing them to others. It's blame shifting.

They subconsciously assume you are doing all the bad shite they are, so they preemptively accuse you of their own sins. Ironic indeed that it reveals so much about the accuser.

Trump is a protectionist who wants to spend his way out of the recession.

Trump is a corrupt businessman. This is how he has run his business, and this is how he will run the country.

However, my big concern is the potential for gross incompetence and negligence in appointed positions which could result in all kinds of disasters.

Damn, you must've had an aneurysm when Obama appointed Timothy Geithner.

That retards like you won't give him the opportunity to earn your trust and approval.

It's a different mindset for the first time in our lifetime.

Let the man try something different. You can't argue with the results so far.

You mean the work they did on the winning campaign? Maybe they proved they could do a great job and be effective since you know they ran the winning campaign.

+1000

But Hugo you seem to think a person outside of professional politics makes this worse. Your position makes no sense.

Same as it has always been. That he doesn't have the slightest clue what being President truly means and the daily duties and responsibilities that come with the position.

Saw earlier he still has 600+ positions to fill. The top Cabinet posts are the headline making positions, but the real sausage is made with all the underlings and he's barely filled any of those roles.

I keep waiting and hoping for him to prove me wrong, but that is waning each passing day. I just hope we don't have a national security crisis any time soon.

This falls on Congress. He can pretty much only get away with however much Congress is willing to let him, and right now he has no leash. Perhaps once they get all their little pet projects through they'll decide to grow some balls and demand better.

But I won't hold my breath.

That seems odd....almost paranoid. But maybe I'm not understanding your evidence for the claim. What are you basing it on?
