Bet most people involved in car accidents between 6a-9a have caffeine in their systems.

I would argue it’s addictive in the way many things become psychologically compulsive to people with addictive personalities.

Like gambling, eating, etc.

Addiction is primarily a mental disease. While there aren’t as many, plenty of folks check into rehab for weed. Sometimes it’s young kids whose parents force them to, but it’s a thing.

As far as gambling it’s a deadly cross addiction (get off one thing, go directly to something else) but since it’s not a substance a lot of folks don’t consider it as bad. Same parts of your brain are stimulated as with alcohol. My grandfather was an alcoholic, got “sober”, and everyone was super proud of him, then he gambled away most of his money over the next decade or so.

People should be allowed to live their lives as they see fit. But if your choices bring you to a place where you have nothing, tough. You made those choices, not me. I should not have to pay more in taxes to correct your bad decisions. If you want to do meth till you have no teeth fine with me. However, don't look for me to buy you some dentures. You can gum your food. If you want lay around, smoke weed and not work (I've never met an energetic, go-getting pothead) fine, but when you're hungry do without. I'm not feeding you.

I’ve got a buddy that is wildly successful in commercial/industrial/waterfront real estate and he’ll smoke a j on the way to close multi-million dollar deals north of 10 million.

You can still have rules and norms in anarchy. It’s just the opposite of hierarchy.

I’ve always found the problem with anarchy is eventually people will rise to the top and there will be followers because that’s how it always goes and then you just end up with groups fighting over resources. People naturally fall into a social hierarchy.

Sure...it's sort of implied to not operate a vehicle while you're impaired

Never was a weed person myself, though in principle, I've nothing against it.

Whatever most folks say they get from it, didn't affect me nearly as much or as favorably. So, I've never felt any real affinity towards the stuff. Tried a few edibles, and basically the same thing... nothing all that enjoyable.

I don’t care if weed is legal. It makes most people act like losers though. Weed smokers think they are super cool though.

Maybe you can't sleep without it because you use every day. Try melatonin.
A way to do this is naturally is to get 2 to 10 minutes of early morning sunlight on your retinas, preferably while moving/walking.

Current early time at 31 deg latitude (nola) is about 7:40 am - this changes through the time change to summer at about 6:25am

This resets your circadian rhythm, moderates your cortisol production curve for the rest of the day giving more melatonin naturally, and allows a good sleep with its full 3 or 4 90 to 105 minute long REM/brain cleansing waves through the night.

It works very well and as we age our sleep becomes a major health factor.

My lipidologist is also a sleep expert.

Why is no one advocating for microdosing Psylocibin?

If you want to drive through life with your brake lights on, go ahead and smoke up.
