Rather, it should be that over-use of high-THC products can cause mental health conditions or exacerbate current ones (as has been shown in study, after study, after study, after study, after study, after study, after study, etc.
Most of the studies you linked find a relationship with mental disorders and weed use. Great, but they typically do not indicate a causal relationship; ie the weed doesn't CAUSE these disorders but is prevalent in people that already have mental issues. There has been no study that I am aware of that links marijuana as the cause of mental disorder. The studies questioning violence among marijuana users is not convincing. Again, there are areas of high crime and violence that simply correspond locationally with a culture that uses cannabis.
There are some valid points about overuse in people that can't control the amount they ingest but these people are not the norm amongst cannabis users. The majority of users can go about life while using cannabis with no real ill effects. I personally think using cannabis should be restricted to older individuals >25 years as the brain has typically fully developed at this age.

I don't believe it causes mental disorders, but I believe that a lot of people with mental illness ignorantly believe they can use weed and it not affect their mental illness in a negative way which is false.
If you got a therapist or doctor telling you that you can smoke ganja, with a mental illness, and it not affect you, you might want to find a credible one.

I would tend to agree. It ain't reefer madness and it aint a baby aspirin, it's somewhere in between, but nearly all of the more harmful aspects are multiplied in younger people.

It causes extreme hunger and we're already going through a hunger crisis in the US.

What is right with weed?

Medical pot hits the spot and I meet so many nice folks at the dispensary. It’s like the Star of Hope Mission downtown Houston on Saturday nights.

I'm all for legalizing it. It just needs to be known that just like alcohol and tobacco, weed is bad for you. To legalize it, people have had to be told it's damn near harmless to get it passed through legislation. It's not harmless. It should be legal. But people should know it's definitely not harmless
I have no problem with most of these substances being legal as long as those who choose to smoke weed, drink, over eat, take stronger drungs, etc. are forced to pay for their own decisions - no taxpayer handouts, pay more for healthcare if it is proven to effect one's health, STRONG punishment for reckless behavior (e.g., DUI), etc.
I am all for freedom, but your choices should have no financial or physical affect on me and my family.

IMHO, not a lot. The THC is not the beneficial part, the CBD is.

can people treat weed like mushrooms and “microdose
Absolutely. I bought an ounce of pharmaceutical grade indica a little over a year ago. Usually take one hit off my dugout after work, maybe a couple times per day on wknds if I'm home all day and won't be driving. While I do occasionally skip a day, I practice this routine probably 90% of the time. I have enough left from that ounce to go another month at least. I enjoy the mellow feeling it gives me and my creative thinking skills are sharper when I've partaken of the herb.

Marijuana is addictive as frick
Its not addictive but i have seen people who used it as a crutch and claimed they need it everyday. Anyone who needs to smoke it everyday is addicted to it though.

Are you on anti-depressants or drink? If so, then frick off.
If not then we'll agree to disagree.

Exactly. To say that weed is harmless us just as irresponsible and misinformed as saying it will make you go rape white women

So what does CBD do sans the THC?

I mean people that will or have smoked or do smoke are easier people to deal with and more enjoyable to be around vs those that don’t/won’t.
Especially females.
Pot-smoking women are so much easier to deal with. Poor short-term memory is a wonderful quality in a woman.
As long as you can afford a maid.
