Seems to me a year is long enough.

Seems like there is less chance for corruption like offers from global players.

“You’re hired until I find someone better.”

Ben Carson is next FYI.

Well it shows he didn't hire the best people like he claimed.

But it also isn't that big of a deal. When someone isn't cutting it in business you fire them immediately. To expect Trump to follow the SOP of past presidential cabinets is pretty naive.

Wouldn't you want the best person for the job? If you keep on sub-performers, you aren't reaching your potential

No. It shows he hired the person for a specific outcome in a job. Once reached, he hired the next person for the next job.

An Example is Cohen vs Kudlow.

Cohen's job was tax reform, and regulations cut. Job completed.

Next Job... trade issues. In comes Kudlow.

Past results don’t guarantee future performance.

So if I tell an employee “you’re hired until I find someone better” you bet your arse they’re gonna be motivated to perform their job at the best of their ability. If not, they’re done.

Nothing. Every administration goes through staff turnover. Obama's admin included. It's a high demanding job, and it's gotta be tough if you have family. These are just more sky screamers with TDS wanting to be mad at something.

Yeah but my guess would be they'd quit on their own terms to find a better job/manager. If you walked into the first day on a new job and someone said that shite to you, would you be sticking around?

1) He's being attacked, and has been, by media, hollywood, dems, socialists, and foriegn leaders 24/7 and it is causing fallout. They are all digging up as much dirt as possible to force people in his admin to quit in order to make things difficult on Trump.

2) IN the beginning, and prolly still now, there is a tainted aura over the administration being maintained by the lefties. They want people to feel like they are working for the enemy if you work for Trump, so Trump is limited in his talent pool to select from.

3) He doesn't care about letting people keep their "govt" gravy train job. IF you frick up, your fired.

4) He doesn't care about your feelings or who you are related to...if you LEAK info, and look like you are part of the swamp, you are fired.

5) Seems like there are some that have openly disagreed with Trump in public....YOU'RE FIRED.

He's up against the most criminal group of corrupt govt officials who are trying to hide the largest corruption ring in the history of our country...and these people will stoop to any levels to hinder Trump's administration.

My concern is if they can't hire the right people the first time, what makes anyone think the second time will be different? There should always be turnover but what business has this much in a year?

Totally. Like with Mooch - fire Reince and make way for the next guy 11 days later. Side bonus is eventually everybody gets a go at a White House job. Personally, I can't wait for Sec. of HHS Gumbopot (est. dates of tenure Aug. 14-17, 2019).

Nothing in wrong with it, just gives liberals something to complain about.

I've hired someone who did great in an interview, but when it actually came down to doing the job, they sucked. You give them time to regain control and then you part ways. No need in them collecting a check if they aren't doing the job as expected.

That's being kind.

But by all accounts Gary Cohn resigned. He wasn't fired.

And if your premise were really true, Sessions would have been fired as soon as he recused.

If they are that weak then you wouldn't want them anyways
