From a legal perspective, you have no case…. No argument. You are just in your feels.
So this really isn’t a debate. It’s just you, sharing your personal feelings about what laws should and shouldn’t be enforced by an administration that will never satisfy you, and you are mad because our hearts don’t bleed for this illegal like yours does.

Ultimately, when you stay and build a life with a non binding status like that - it’s the risk you take.
I’m pretty good with aggressive enforcement but I’m not sure I’d race to pull the rug on a decades long mutual agreement with no violations as my priority out of the gate. Sure it’s low hanging fruit but I think my target early is the dangerous as opposed to the fully compliant and following terms grandmother
I won’t be shocked if added context rolls around that changes that opinion but it’s the gut reaction
