i think it's population control. one would argue that there's too many people on earth creating too much of a "carbon footprint" and that's why they're also in favor of abortions. if we terminate most of the world's pregnancies and make being gay/lesbian a fad to keep people from reproducing, the next generations numbers will be fewer than previous generations. thus saving the planet in the name of climate change.
less people mean less cars on the road, less farting, less cooking with gas, less burning coal, etc.

The next time you watch a movie or TV show, I want you to read the credits and see if you can notice what most all of the names have in common.
