the big one is produce. You can probably find good sbustitutes for most other goods.

But we import a shite ton of produce from mexico. Its like 50-60% of all imported produce comes from mexico.

All of that just went up 20%. Its going to kill the american consumer.

A lot of construction supply products. Yes they can be bought in the US for about 30% more cost.

If Twinkies and Swiss cake rolls go up 20% it might kill the American consumer. Not many are eating a lot of produce.

In this country, consumers can choose other alternatives. Name an import subject to taxation that Mexico has a monopoly on.

IF a tariff turns out to be more than a negotiating bluff, American consumers won't be paying 20% more for goods. They'll be plenty competition for our dollars.

mexico has close to a monopoly on produce imported. Its like 50-60% of produce imported. Just go to the grocery store.
